Matter of implementation of Wahli Dikri Yojana
The government is committed to improve the
birth of daughters and increase education in the state of Gujarat and more
efforts are needed to make this commitment meaningful. Under the Guardian
Daughter Scheme launched under the Guardian Daughter Scheme, the Wahli Daughter
Scheme is being implemented by the State Government to achieve the following
objectives: to promote female birth, to prevent female feticide, to promote
female education and to strengthen the position of women in society.
1.Objective
Increasing the birth rate of daughters

women in society as a whole
Prevent child marriage
Dropout ratio in daughters' education
2.Beneficiary eligibility
Daughters born on or after 2/8/2019 will be
eligible for this scheme
A maximum of two daughters of the couple
will be eligible for the scheme
Both the first and second daughter of the
couple will be eligible for the benefit but after the second daughter the
couple should have undergone fertility surgery.
If there is a first son and a second
daughter, the second daughter will be eligible for assistance but after the
second day the couple should have undergone contraceptive surgery.
With the exception of the first son and the
other two daughters being born at the same time or above, all the daughters
will be eligible for the benefit of the Guardian Daughter Scheme but on the
second day the daughter should have undergone fertility surgery.

installment is an allowance of Rs. 100000 for 18 years of higher education but
the daughter is married.
4.Financial provision
The
opening of the new head budget for this scheme is not until the new head opens,
but the total provision of Whali Dikari Yojana and the provision of Yojana
Prasad 4 per cent is the budget head below the provisional standard.

special daughter scheme.

older at the time of birth of the daughter
Under Wahali Dikari Yojana, the annual
income limit of the couple who wants to get long will be the same for rural and
urban area. Rs. 200,000 or less will be eligible.
9.Approval process
The application form of
Wahalibdikaribayojan will be made available free of cost by the Anganwadi
Center CDPO office, Gram Panchayat Mahila Bal and Officer Shri's office.
The competent authority for sanctioning
assistance under this scheme will be the woman and child officer of the
district
Families of daughters born after date
2.8.2019 will have to apply within one year time limit of birth of daughter in
the prescribed form along with supporting evidence.
The beneficiary couple has to apply online
in the prescribed form along with the required supporting evidence. The
application can also be submitted at Janseva Kendra Sevasetu. Also the Women
and Child Welfare Officer has to be sent on the 15th day. The Women and Child
Officer has to do the necessary verification as per the rules and approve the
application on the 15th day.
